GETTING STARTED
From sign-up to your first send

How long does it take to set up?
Most people are signed up and sending within a day: we register and authenticate your sending domain in the background while you build your first campaign. There's no DNS to touch and nothing to wait on.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The email builder is drag-and-drop, landing pages and sign-up forms come from your brand settings and a one-line brief, and every change is made by clicking, not coding.
What do I need before my first campaign?
Just your brand details (logo, colors, how you write) and a list to send to. Describe your offer in one line and the editor builds a complete email: hero, sections, offer band, proof and footer.
Can I import my existing list?
Yes. Upload any spreadsheet and the importer maps each column to a field automatically, reusing fields you already have instead of duplicating them, and resumes on its own if the upload is interrupted.
Will Six and Two write the email for me?
You give it a one-line brief covering the offer, the audience and the tone, and it designs a complete email in your brand from that brief. You can launch several versions at once and see which one people respond to.
How do I grow my list if I don't have a website yet?
Build a landing page on your own sending domain with a sign-up form on it, built from the same brief as your emails. If you already have a website, add the same form there with one embed instead.
What happens right after I sign up?
You land straight in the editor while your sending domain is set up behind the scenes. There's no onboarding call to book and no setup fee: you build your first campaign the same day.
SENDING & DELIVERABILITY
Built to land in the inbox, not the spam folder

Do I need my own domain to send from?
Yes, and we set it up for you: we register a sending domain that matches your brand, configure its SPF, DKIM and DMARC authentication, and host it. You never touch a DNS record.
Will my emails end up in spam?
Nobody can promise inbox placement, but every address on your list is checked with its mail server before you send, and your domain builds its sending reputation gradually with every inbox provider. Across the network, 99.7% of mail is delivered.
How fast can I send to my whole list?
A new sending domain starts small and earns more volume as Gmail, Microsoft, Yahoo and the rest accept its mail, the way any trustworthy sender grows. Each inbox provider gets its own sending rate, adjusted from how it's responding right now.
What happens to bad or fake addresses on my list?
Every address is verified against its own mail server before a campaign can be sent to it, not just checked for a typo. Dead mailboxes, dead domains and anyone who's complained anywhere on the platform are kept out of your send.
What's the difference between an open and a 'human open'?
Some opens are really software scanning the message for safety; we count those as automated opens and count the people who actually looked as human opens, in a separate column. Both are visible live from your first send.
Can I catch mistakes before a campaign goes out?
Yes. Every campaign gets reviewed before launch: the subject line and preheader, the structure with images off, every link, your sender details and your footer, each finding with the reason and the fix in plain English.
Can I follow up with people who didn't open my last email?
Yes. Save everyone who didn't open a campaign and resend to just them with a new subject line, or save the people who clicked or opened without clicking for a different kind of follow-up.
PRICING & CREDITS
Simple pricing, nothing held back
How does pricing work?
Five plans, priced in US dollars, each running month to month with no contract to sign. Every plan includes every feature; the only difference between plans is how many credits you get.
What's a credit?
One credit sends one email. Address checks and the AI writing tool draw from the same pool, so there's just one number to watch.
Do I lose features on a cheaper plan?
No. The editor, AI writing, sign-up forms, landing pages, verification, your sending domain and reporting are the same on every plan; only your monthly credits change.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. Plans run month to month, so you can move up, move down or cancel whenever your sending needs change, with nothing locking you in.
What currency am I billed in?
US dollars, on every plan, with no separate charge for any feature.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Move up to a plan with more credits whenever you need to, and your sends, checks and AI writing simply draw from the larger pool from that point on.
YOUR DATA & THE LAW
Sending legally, and keeping your list clean
Do I need permission to email someone?
Under the CAN-SPAM Act you can email people without prior opt-in, but you must use an honest sender name, a truthful subject line and a working opt-out. Sign-up forms built with Six and Two collect that permission properly from the start.
What is CAN-SPAM, and does Six and Two help me follow it?
It's the US law enforced by the FTC, covering honest headers and subject lines, a physical address in every email and an opt-out honored within 10 business days. Our footers and unsubscribe links are built to carry what the law requires, and our guide to email marketing in the United States walks through the rest.
How do unsubscribes work?
Every email carries a working unsubscribe link, and anyone who opts out stops receiving campaigns right away. That removal is honored well within the 10 business days CAN-SPAM allows.
Is my list and data private?
Your lists, campaigns and reports sit under your own account and your own sending domain. We don't sell or share your list with anyone.
What happens to addresses that complain?
An address that complains anywhere on the platform is kept out of future sends automatically, which protects both your reputation and theirs.
Can I use a purchased list?
Every address you send to is verified against its own mail server before your campaign goes out, so a risky purchased list won't make it through that check. Lists built from real sign-ups, through your own forms, perform best.
