LISTS AND IMPORTS
Bring your whole list. Know who's safe to send.
Upload any spreadsheet, map the columns once, and every address gets checked before it ever reaches a campaign. No guessing, no duplicate fields, no mystery about why the count doesn't match.
Any spreadsheet, mapped for you
Fields reused, never duplicated
Every address checked before you send

THE IMPORT PROBLEM
Your spreadsheet shouldn't turn into a mess.
You export your contacts from wherever they've been living, open the file, and nothing lines up. One column is called "Email," another is "email_address," a third is just "E." Every importer you've tried treats these as three different things, so you end up with three fields doing the same job and no clean way to merge them back together.
Then the count doesn't match. Your spreadsheet says 4,218 rows. Your list shows 3,990. Nobody tells you which 228 people didn't make it, or why, so you're left guessing whether you lost real subscribers or just some blank rows.
None of that should be your problem to solve. A list import is supposed to save you time, not hand you a cleanup job before you've sent a single email.

HOW IT WORKS
From spreadsheet to send-ready in minutes.
Four steps, and you'll know exactly who's on your list and who's safe to email.
Upload your file
Drop in a CSV or spreadsheet export from anywhere your contacts currently live.
Map your columns
Match each column to a field, your own or one you already have. Nothing gets duplicated.
Let it run
If your connection drops or the file is huge, the upload picks up right where it stopped.
Check your list
Every address is checked against its mail server before it's ever added to a campaign.
IN DETAIL
What happens inside every import.
Three parts of the import that decide whether your list is clean, or a mess you clean up later.
ANY SPREADSHEET, MAPPED FOR YOU
Columns matched to the right fields, every time
Upload a CSV from any system, your old provider, a point-of-sale export, a spreadsheet you've kept by hand, and the importer reads every column header and offers a match to a field in your account.
If you already have a field called "First name" or "Order total," your spreadsheet's "fname" or "total_spent" maps straight onto it. Nothing gets created twice, and your list stays one clean set of fields instead of five versions of the same thing.
Works with any spreadsheet export
Matches columns to existing fields
No duplicate fields left behind

EVERY SUBSCRIBER TELLS ITS OWN STORY
Open one record, see everything
Click into any subscriber and see their fields, every campaign they've received, what they opened and what they clicked, all in one place instead of scattered across separate exports.
Opens are marked as human or automated, so when you check a single person's activity you're seeing what they actually did, not what their inbox software did on their behalf.
Fields, campaigns and activity in one view
Opens marked human or automated
No separate reports to cross-reference
CUSTOM FIELDS, PUT TO WORK
A spreadsheet column becomes personalization
Any custom field you bring in during an import, a renewal date, a favorite product, a membership tier, shows up as a merge field in the email editor the moment the import finishes.
And once an address hard-bounces or complains, it's suppressed across the whole platform, not just on the list you imported it to, so nobody on your team sends to it again by accident.
Custom fields ready to merge into campaigns
Hard bounces suppressed platform-wide
Complaints suppressed platform-wide
WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU
A list you can actually trust.
This is what a clean import actually changes about how you run your email program.

Know who's safe, instantly
Every address is checked with its mail server before it's added to a campaign, so dead mailboxes never make the list.
One set of fields, not five
Columns map onto fields you already have, so your list never ends up with three versions of "email."
Personalize from day one
Custom fields become merge fields the moment the import finishes, ready for your next campaign.
Bad addresses never come back
A hard bounce or complaint is suppressed across your whole account, not just the list it happened on.
Big files finish, even on bad wifi
An interrupted upload picks up right where it stopped, so a dropped connection never costs you a re-upload.
See each subscriber's history
Fields, campaigns, opens and clicks sit on one record, with human opens told apart from automated ones.
COMPARED
What a typical import leaves you with.

A typical import tool
- Guesses at column matches and often creates duplicate fields.
- Drops dead mailboxes and complainers straight into your next send.
- Starts the whole file over if the upload drops partway through.
- Custom columns sit unused once the import finishes.
- A bounce on one list doesn't stop it reaching another.
- The subscriber record is a name and an email address.
Six and Two
- Matched for you. Reuses the fields you already have, every time.
- Checked first. Every address is verified before it ever sends.
- Picks up where it stopped. No re-uploading a huge file.
- Ready to personalize. Custom fields become merge fields immediately.
- Suppressed everywhere. One hard bounce protects every list you own.
- The whole story. Fields, campaigns, opens and clicks, together.
QUESTIONS
Lists and imports, answered.

Answers for anyone bringing a list to Six and Two for the first time.
Can I bring my existing list?
Yes. Upload a spreadsheet, map the columns, and every address is checked before you send to it.
What file formats can I import?
Any spreadsheet export works, a CSV from your old provider, your point-of-sale system, or a file you've kept by hand. The importer reads the column headers and maps each one to a field.
Will importing create duplicate fields?
No. If a column matches a field you already have, your data maps onto that field instead of creating a new one, so your list stays one clean set of fields.
What happens if my upload gets interrupted?
It picks up right where it stopped. You don't need to start a large file over because your connection dropped or your laptop went to sleep.
How do I know which addresses are safe to send to?
Every address is checked with its mail server before it's added to a campaign, so dead mailboxes and dead domains are found before you send, not after.
What happens to someone who bounces or complains?
They're suppressed across the whole platform. If an address hard-bounces or complains on one list, nobody can send to it again from any list in your account.
Can I use my spreadsheet columns in my emails?
Yes. Any custom field from your import becomes a merge field in the email editor, so a column like "first name" or "renewal date" turns straight into personalization.
Does importing a list change my legal obligations?
No. Your emails still need to follow the CAN-SPAM Act: honest headers, a physical address, and an opt-out honored within 10 business days. Checking addresses doesn't replace sending only to people who agreed to hear from you.
WORKS WITH
Your list feeds everything else.
Once your list is in, it powers the rest of Six and Two: every campaign, every follow-up, every report.
Every address checked
The moment your import finishes, every address on it is checked with its mail server, not just checked for spelling.
Dead mailboxes and dead domains are flagged before they ever reach a campaign.
Follow up with the right people
Once your list is active, save everyone who clicked, everyone who opened without clicking, or everyone who didn't open, and send them something new.
