How it works

How credits work

A credit is one unit for all your work: sending, verifying contacts, writing with AI and holding domains. Your plan's credits are used first, then any you've topped up.

Everything you do on Six and Two runs on credits. A credit is one unit for all of it, so there's one balance to see.

Where credits go

  • Sending an email.
  • Verifying a contact.
  • Writing with AI.
  • Each domain you hold, for the time you hold it.

Which credits go first

There are two kinds of credit, and they're used in order:

OrderKindEach month
FirstYour plan's creditsThey refill
ThenCredits you've topped upThe refill never resets them

So a top-up stays there until it's used.

Mail on its way never stops

Credits never stop mail that's already on its way. Once your mail is sending, it isn't held up by your balance.

Where you see them

  1. Open Usage. It shows what's left: the credits remaining, and what you've used of your plan's. The bar fills as your plan's credits are used.

  2. This month shows what used them: sends, contact verifications, AI generations and domain slots. Below them are your deliverability and today's use so far.

Good to know

If your plan's credits refill on a set date, Usage shows it.

Check your usage and credits takes you through the page.

Why it works this way

One unit covers all of it, so there's one balance to see. Your plan's credits are always used first. A top-up is never reset, so what you add stays there until it's used. And credits never stop mail that's already on its way.
