Watch it: Collect sign-ups with a form · 1:19

A sign-up form on your website lets new people join your list by themselves. Everyone who signs up has asked to hear from you, so your emails are welcome when they arrive. Each sign-up goes straight onto the list you choose, ready for your next campaign, with nothing to copy across by hand.

Make the form

  1. Open Forms from the menu.

  2. Press New signup form.

  3. Give it a name you'll recognise.

  4. Choose Embedded, so it sits in your page like any other block.

  5. Open the list box.

  6. Choose the list new sign-ups join.

  7. Press Create Form.

  8. It's switched on, and taking sign-ups straight away.

Choose what it asks

  1. It asks for an email address and a first name. You can add more fields here.

  2. Add Last Name, for example.

  3. Press Save design to keep it.

Put it on your website

  1. Open Embed, for the code that puts the form on your website.

  2. Press Copy.

  3. The code is copied. Paste it into your website where the form should go.

Once it's on your site, every sign-up lands on your list.
