Fix it

Sign-ups aren't reaching my list

With Double opt-in on, people join only once they click the link in their confirmation email. Spam protection can also turn a sign-up away. The form's Settings tab shows both.

A sign-up form adds people to its list, and keeps bots out on the way. When people seem to be missing, it's almost always one of the settings below.

Open the form's settings

  1. Open Forms, then the form.

  2. Open its Settings tab. Spam protection is under Spam protection.

Check what it's set to

Addresses that are turned away

A throwaway address, a shared inbox like info@, or a common typo of a big provider's name is refused with This email address cannot be used.

In the list, but not mailed yet

Every new address is checked before it's ever mailed, like any list you upload. Someone who has just joined may wait a moment for their check.
