Question
Can I send campaigns from my own domain?
Campaigns go out from sending domains of their own, so your main domain keeps its good name for your website and everyday email. Replies can still come to your own address.
Your campaigns go out from sending domains of their own, not from your main domain. That's on purpose.
Why not your main domain
Every domain that sends mail earns a reputation. Campaign traffic carries more risk than everyday email, so it's kept off the domain your website and your everyday email depend on. If a campaign ever has a bad day, your main domain doesn't.
What people see
- The name in their inbox is yours. You type it under Sender in each campaign.
- Your landing page opens on the domain the email came from, so the sender, the link and the page all match: A real page on every sending domain.
Replies still reach you
A reply can go to your own everyday address. Verify it once, and any campaign can use it: Verify your reply-to address.
Every sending domain has its records written for you: Sending domains, set up for you.
