How it works

Sending domains, set up for you

Your campaigns go out from sending domains of their own, each with every record it needs written for you, so campaign traffic and its reputation stay off your main domain.

Every domain that sends mail earns a reputation of its own. So your campaigns go out from sending domains of their own, and your main domain keeps doing its job: your website, and your everyday email. Campaign traffic, and the reputation that comes with it, stays off your main domain.

The records a sending domain needs

Mail servers trust a domain's mail only when its records check out. Add a sending domain, and every one of them is written for you.

RecordWhat it does
VerificationProves the domain is yours
SPFSays who may send for it
DKIMSigns every email
DMARCTies both to the address your email comes from
A return addressTakes the bounces, on the same domain, with its own MX and SPF records

While they're written, the domain shows Registered — setting up DNS and mail records automatically now.

Ready when it checks out

  • A domain is verified once its domain verification, its DKIM and the platform's own check all pass.
  • A campaign sends only from fully verified domains, and it needs at least four.
  • Each domain then serves your landing page: A real page on every sending domain.
  • Each one keeps its own pace with every mailbox provider: Traffic governance.

Add one

  1. Open Add Domains.

  2. Under Find your next sending domain, type a keyword or a full domain. Its availability is checked in real time.

  3. Press Build a group to make a domain group: four domains, the minimum to launch a campaign. It picks the rest of the four from your search.

Good to know

Every sending domain is found and added here, and every one gets its records written for it.
