How it works
What your results count
Your Results page counts people, not machines: delivered is sent less bounced, clicks count each person once, and every figure matches each campaign's own report.
Your Results page adds up what your campaigns did. Every number on it is counted the same way as each campaign's own report, so the two always agree. And opens and clicks count people, not the machines that open mail.
What each number counts
| Number | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Sent | Every email that went out |
| Delivered | What was sent, less what bounced |
| Engaged opens | Opens by people, with machine opens left out |
| Clicks | Each person once, however often they click |
| Bounces | The emails that bounced |
| Unsubscribes | The people who asked to stop |
What each rate is out of
| Rate | Out of |
|---|---|
| Engaged opens | What was delivered |
| Clicks | The campaign's whole audience, as it stood at launch |
| Click to open | The people who opened |
| Bounces | The campaign's whole audience |
| Unsubscribes | The campaign's whole audience |
Numbers you can trust
- Totals add up the counts first, then work out each rate from the sums. They never average rates, so every email counts the same.
- Only launched campaigns that have really sent are counted. Sample campaigns never are.
- Opens and clicks count people. Real people, not machines explains how machines are told apart.
What else it shows
- Choose 30 days, 90 days or 12 months, and each number is compared with the same stretch before it. All time shows everything.
- Subject lines that won: when a campaign tests two or more subject lines, the one people opened most shows here.
- Campaigns: each one, with its full report.
Your deliverability score is on the Results page too: Your deliverability score explains how it's worked out.

- Your deliverability scoreYour deliverability score rates out of 100 how much of your mail is getting through, from four things you can see: delivered, bounces, unsubscribes and your sending domains. How it works
- A campaign that protects itselfOnce 1,000 emails have gone out since it last started, a campaign pauses itself if 3 in every 100 bounce hard, and a variant that draws spam reports is paused on its own.How it works
- Design variants and the rarity scoreEvery send pairs one sending domain with one email variant, and the Sending Pattern Score shows how rarely a pairing repeats: above 70 looks natural, below 40 is too repetitive. How it works
